Nolan, Maine’s Youngest Raft Guide

The heart behind H.E.R.O.

Nolan was a 14-year-old from Pittsfield, Maine, whose life was cut short by a brain aneurysm. He loved music, sports, learning, and the outdoors.

Before beginning high school, Nolan wrote an essay exploring what makes someone a hero. He focused on courage, humility, compassion, and the desire to help others.

His family created Nolan’s H.E.R.O. Foundation to carry that vision forward.
